Navarasa is the Tamil Language in Indian anthology series released on Netflix in August of 2021; with nine episodes in season one showing different emotions just like anger, courage, disgust, compassion, fear, love, laughter, surprise, and peace, this emotion is called “rasa”.
But, there was no news regarding the renewal of the show as of the moment or even hint regarding the second two, the production was taken for nine months so if they were to renew we would expect it to be released in 2022.
Because of the world’s situation right now the coronavirus restrictions are hindering the production of all the shows reason for the entertainment company didn’t release any statement but producer Mani Ratman revealed in his interview “Why? If we have to re-film for a specific purpose,
We will intervene. Also considered having 10-12 stories instead of 9, which means there is hope for another program.” This gives us hope to wait and look forward to releasing the second season.
Ratings and viewership were pretty good in season one, also critics and response garnered good responses in one season so the entertainment company doesn’t have any reason for it not to be released.
The cast was not released yet for the second season or even news but it will surely be a new cast and different plot twist because of the nature of the show wrapping up every episode released and introduce new characters but it would probably be some cast were to return but only a few.
The show was produced by Mani Ratman in collaboration with Jayendra Panchapakesan, the first episode follows Dheena visits the house of an unidentified man and the unidentified man’s wife named Savithri and was teaching domestic servant’s children, and then she goes to her husband room and fount out that her husband has been killed. The police questioned Savithri’s son but they were unsuccessful to reveal the killer’s identity,
while Dheena takes his wife and toddler daughter to a safe place in his grandmother’s house. Dheena encountered many difficulties in his life and it was soon revealed that a mysterious man is the cause of all his hatred, asking why would it happen to him he sang “Manithan Enbavan Deivam Aagalam” which means “A man can become a God”.
In episode two it follows a famous comedian Velusamy, he was invited as a guest to his old school and while he was delivering his speech his school memories were recurring. The naughtiest kid in school and failed his grade four ninth times, he recalled what he did to his teachers and what he did to the dog of the principal and keeping the dog not to return home again.
How the arranged marriage of the daughter’s principal was ruined as he is not successful in keeping the dog away, the engagement was canceled after that he was kicked out to the school by the principal.
Season three shows a man named Vishnu a scientist who rejects the offer to work Indian Space Research Organization as he wanted his mind to be free. He discovers reality and the future, he has visions about his wide and son being on the beach and also a vision of a time when he was at the beach and holding a gun.
He invited his friend who works in ISRO named Krishna, he shows him the Mayan calendar that on December 21, 2012, the world would end but it did not happen. He told Krishna that the universe is computer stimulation and the alien species called “Annunaki” was taken control of the world.
But Krishna did not believe Vishnu and got irritated because of his visions and fake theories, but Vishnu predicted what will happen that Krishna will listen to him as he tells him his other stories. He believes that on December 12, 2021, the dream world was destroyed and we are living in physically and subconsciously called “dream” that one day humans will be lost the ability to use imagination or what he called “dream”.

As the show was not renewed as of the moment there is no trailer available, if the entertainment company were to consider renewing the show we will update the page immediately.
The entertainment company hasn’t given any hint in having another season of Navarasa. We will update any changes in this article.
