The Umbrella Academy season three is already in production and currently underway for the next season. It started on February 2021 following the timetable it would probably be released in early or mid-2022, it has not been clarified though.

The story follows 43 women who give birth simultaneously at noon with the same date on October 1, 1989, it was unpredicted birth as they are not showing any signs of being pregnant and they just knew until their labor began.
Seven of them were adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire that turns them into superheroes that he calls The Umbrella Academy. He give them numbers rather than normal names but they were named by their programmed robot-mother named Grace and their names are Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Five, Ben, and Vanya. However,
Vanya possessed no power on her reason for Reginald to keep her apart from doing activities such as saving people and while fighting crimes. After many years the seven has their own lives Vanya being a violinist, Luther decide to live on the moon as a part ape, Allison becomes a famous actress, Klaus becomes addicted to drugs,
Five disappeared and leave with no traces, Ben died and become a ghost that can only converse with Klaus’s body, and Diego becomes a trouble maker and was now labeled as a vigilante.
