The Right Stuff season 2 Release Date Information
According to Deadline space drama, The Right Stuff was canceled their season 2 by its home network Disney+. Disney+ first cancellation, after the long conversation between the home network and the producers they decided to cancel the show.
Another reason for cancellation is that the show didn’t reach the expected ratings although it still received solid remarks from the super fans it is not worth it to produce another season.
Warner Bros is already looking for the shopping of the series to other networks with WarnerMedia siblings TNT and HBO Max. The show is an adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s best-selling book in 1979, and released a movie in 1983 by Philip Kaufman and originated at National Geographic.
The airing of a Mercury 7 period drama the first-ever American astronauts aired its first season of the show become a hit by the release of the first season consists of eight episodes and another season was given $13.7 million to move from Florida to California, astronauts and their family are trying to be part of the Project Mercury.
However, in finding a new home for the series news broke that TNT and HBO Max the new home of the series in the future allegedly want to make differences and fans wonder what would be the direction of the show and worst they would replace the old cast of their space mission, it is not clear though if this changes would happen.
Fans were happy to hear the news about renewing in another network but unhappy if these changes would happen as they also loved the cast and how great their acting was.
The drama was all about the American astronauts who will take their first space mission, NASA programs select its best test pilots that can be fitted to this mission.
The seven astronauts that are selected are Alan Shepard a Navy pilot and cocky-ruler breaker who want to be the first man in space. John Glenn a pilot marine who wants to make a name for himself, a non-drinker, and a devoted husband of his wife Annie.
Gordo Cooper a United States Airforce who wants to be part of Mercury Seven but they were not on good terms with his wife he convinces his wife to cancel their separations as one of NASA’s requirements is having a stable family.
Wally Schirra, and Gus Grissom, Deke Slayton, Scott Carpenter. They compete with the Russian as Russia is far ahead of the Americans, so they must be quick and smart in their mission. In season one it was shown the tension with Alan Shepard and John Glenn,
Alan Shepard was accusing his Mercury Seven teammate of going behind his back. The characters encounter struggles throughout their journey, some tension-filled scenes, and how they work as a team.
